Monterey County Gives! - Challenge Grants
I-HELP is excited to be in Monterey County Gives (MC Gives!) for the third year. This amazing community wide fund raising campaign, sponsored by the Community Foundation for Monterey County and the Monterey County Weekly is leveraged with matching funds donated by local foundations and sponsors.
YOU, the current friends and supporters of I-HELP, have a special opportunity to contribute a Challenge Gift to show your support and help spur individual, businesses, or others in the community to become donors supporting the work of I-HELP.
Challenge gift donations made prior to October 25th will be publicly recognized in the MC Gives! issue available in print and online on November 7.
Challenge gift contributions to I-HELP through the MC Gives! program need to be submitted according to the instructions on the Challenge Gift Form. (Click here for a downloadable copy.)
Checks must be made payable to CFMC/MC Gives! and mailed to their Garden Road address as shown on the form. I-HELP should be shown as the “organization receiving the challenge gift.” CFMC will credit and forward to I-HELP all contributions so designated.
Contributions from individual donors are certainly welcome. As an alternative, members of churches and other faith communities, service clubs, or organizations may choose to combine their own contributions with colleague members and submit a single check for the total amount contributed. In this case, the contributing organization would be listed as the overall donor.
Thank you very much for your support of I-HELP and for helping spread the word about I-HELP in the November 7th Monterey County Weekly and the MC Gives!. I-HELP raised $50,000 through last year’s MC Gives Campaign which helped pay for more than 2 months of the cost of operating I-HELP. With your help, we can do even more this year.
